Mike Nash is a performer and songwriter raised in Nashville, Tennessee. Unlike most musicians who move to Nashville to find their way, Mike chose a different path--moving from his hometown to find his professional music beginnings in Cocoa Beach, Florida.

Ericson Holt, the bluesy, piano playing, singer-songwriter was born in Richmond, Virginia and is the 3rd son of his mother, the heralded western novelist, A.H. Holt and the younger brother of blues songwriter, C.S. Holt.

Dan, originally from Missouri and Chris from Nebraska, quickly realized they knew some of the same folks from the Lincoln, Omaha and Kansas City music scenes. The Detentions were born, and they played their first official gig for a faculty Christmas party. For over a decade now, The Detentions have been helping folks "retire one weekend at a time" playing their blend of Country/Rock/Coastal/Americana they call Rockamole.
